NEWS & EVENTS - December 2012

 · December 5, Wednesday
      from 18.30 - 23 h
    Pikkujoulu
   Little Christmas Party
(max. 40 persons - please register)

Pikku Joulu is a Finnish expression, meaning little Christmas. It is a name for parties Finns like to give in the time before Christmas. Beside mulled wine and yummy cookies, this little party at ASiB will be spiced up with a game I learned at my first pikkijoulu party in Finland. You are most welcome and please feel free to bring an art-loving friend, too.

List of things to bring to the party:
   1) slippers or warm socks (you will be asked to take off your shoes  and may be sitting on the floor)
  2) a cup you will drink from (Please help us care about the environment and say “NO” to using plastic cups)   3)  some vegetarian food, snacks and/or drinks
 4) two or more small wrapped presents for the Pikkujouly game- The present should not be very expensive and if you are creative feel free to make something yourself. If possible keep the presents either handmade or art-related, to keep the spirit of the school. Please remember to wrap your presents at homeIt is important for the game that no one knows what is inside the package.
NOTE: The Pikkujoulu game will start at 8PM sharp. If you would like to participate in the game (which is really A LOT of fun) please make sure to arrive before 8PM.
